Blistered Green Beans with Garlic

Ingredients

  • 1.00 lb Fresh Green Beans (Ends trimmed) Blue Lake Bea...
  • 2.00 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3.00 cloves Garlic (Thinly sliced)
  • 0.50 tsp Salt (Or to taste)
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper (Freshly ground)

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over high heat for 2 minutes. Add the olive oil.
  2. Add the green beans to the hot oil. Cook, stirring only occasionally, until the beans are bright green and have blistered, charred, or browned spots, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the sliced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Do not let the garlic burn.
  4. Remove the skillet from the heat. Season immediately with salt and black pepper. Toss to combine.
  5. Serve warm.
