  • 3.00 cloves Garlic (Finely minced)
  • 0.50 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 0.50 cup White Vinegar
  • 2.00 tbsp Water
  • 0.50 tsp Salt
  • 1.00 tbsp Lime Juice (Freshly squeezed)

Instructions

  1. In a small food processor, pulse the chili peppers and garlic until finely chopped. Do not over-process into a paste.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, white vinegar, water, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar and salt dissolve.
  3. Reduce the heat to a simmer. Add the chili and garlic mixture. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the fresh lime juice. Let the sauce cool completely before transferring to an airtight jar.
  5. The sauce will thicken further as it cools. Store in the refrigerator.
